After a couple of lugs/brackets if anyone has one that's only good for scrap?

I have a 750SS frame that I've chopped up if anything you need is the same?

Couldn't you just knock up the brackets needed from thin mild steel sheet, bar or tube?

Probably, but it'd look more factory to use factory brackets.

After 4 tabs to hang some passenger foot pegs off. Got anything like that?

No but it wouldn't be that difficult to copy

If they're the same as the SS ones then they're still on the frame I have. When I get home I'll take a pic and post it tonight if I remember. If it's the same I'll chop the complete tube out and you can cut the brackets off. I agree with not making some, they are an awkward shape with a captive nut.

That'd be brilliant! Thanks.

PM me your address and I'll get the tubes cut out and posted, that way you can cut the brackets off to fit wherever you're using them ;-)

Got your PM, I need to get some cutting discs as I'm out of them, I'm off on Thurday so I'll pick up some discs and hopefully get them posted then.

Sweet, no rush, haven't got the pillion pegs yet.

The guy I sold my pillion pegs to doesn't need them, I'll send him a message of you like?

Suggestion - cut the tube in half along the tube just above where the brackets are? Trim the excess off the end's , clean them up of rust & burrs & tap the C-section of the tube open slightly so it will fit OVER your existing frame tube!

Weld them on as is, they will be infernally fiddly to cut off intact and weld back onto your frame, this way they stay in good shape! ;)

Great.

Billet peg brackets arrived. A nice match for my rear sets.

Hopefully the carbon side pods will cover up the addition brackets nicely when the rear pegs aren't in use and are removed.

Now that is a good idea!! Let me know when they arrive mate :-)

Might try that technique if the bolt centres are the same. Great tip!

Will probably be taking the frame off anyway so I can weld them on with it upside down, then send it off for powdercoating.
