True, and also that was almost 20yrs ago. Why did they report on it now?
It would make tonnes of sense to carry a fold up bike in the back or simillar.

Very impressive....but why not just walk?
Taking it easy, 2 miles a day he would have got there in 10 days rather than doing all the heavy mechanical work for 12 days!!
