A few weeks ago I filled in the form here
http://www.bridgetogantry.com/2/index.php/motorcycles/443-test-form
this evening I got an email from Dale, saying they have almost 100 interested already and are confident whoever takes over running the Nordschleife will have at least a year's tenure, so looking good for 2013 :-D

Ooh, nice. The main thing that puts me off about riding on the ring are the cars. Cars and bikes together isn't a good idea on a track.

It won't be cheap but it will probably be two days of unbelievable fun

I don't know if I could trust myself on a bike. Done far too many passenger laps in cars and 'think' I know my way around but when it comes to driving it myself I tend to go a little too fast for my memory and ability. Not sure I'd want to be in that situation on a bike.

Off there this weekend for the WSB and a few laps. See how rusty I am, I've only been for the 24hr this year so not driven it for over a year.

Hello guys and gals,

While the Eifel is not exactly two-wheeled-weather right now (not without knobblies and spikes) I just wanted to let you know that things are still moving forward.

While we are waiting for final confirmation from the Nürburgring, we are expecting two consecutive days in July. Probably after the F1 GP. These days will probably land smack-bang in the middle of a working week.

Prices for the course will probably be around the €800 mark for both days.

I'll let you know more as soon as I find out!

Cheers,
Dale

Just got that too. Good news, thats about half the price I was expecting.
(unless "for both days" actually means per day)
Just need to rebuild my engine and get it run in then.

As long as it's not too near a race weekend I will be up for this.

And as for track days to run the bike in, well I am up for any of those too!
