regulator / rectifier

Hi, I'm looking for a regulator/rectifier for my 2004 800sie.
I think the specific part number is 540.4.010.1A from the ducati website but havn't had the chance to take off the faulty original one off the bike to check yet but think it's correct, thanks.

Just taken it off and the only other numbers on it are RS41 50 2G 08

The Elextrx ones are going to be cheaper and they do have a good reputation for quality goods.

i have one from my very clean s2r1000 that only did 5700 miles
same part code as yours

Sounds interesting, what year bike was it from?

it was from 2006 (november according to the date stamp on the seat)
