Speedo reading way off any suggestions??

I have a problem with my 99' M600 the speedo is reading way out ie. when i'm doing 30mph it reads 20mph, however it does not read just 10mph under at some points it reads 50mph when i'm doing 70mph, it's cable driven.

Any suggestions??

Yeah it was ok but now it does it

Possibly kinked, dry ie not lubed or maybe the speedo drive is in need of a grease.

Check the condition of the worm drive, plastic can wear and slip.

Ok were exactly is that located, and is it repairable??

LH front wheel spindle, just follow the cable. Remove spindle and it will come out, also acts as a spacer.

My money is on the cable itself..
