...kinda thing, anyway.
As choosing a venue for a suitable Christmas lunch/dinner has proved seemingly impossible with so many wanting to come from so far (those three wise men etc.) - CK and I were chatting last weekend and it seemed a good idea to combine the December Surrey monthly at Box Hill (2nd Sunday each month) with a honorary Christmas lunch thing, at the Smith & Wesson diner at the top of Box Hill.
Meeting usual time/place - (from 10.30am at the bottom Box Hill carpark) - for coffee/chat/poss shortish rideout (CK's gonna show us those unrestricted roads?!), then to the top of the hill at Midday, for lunch and drinks etc.
As for Sussex meeting point - plan to meet at Washington Roundbout (approx 15 mins from BURY Hill) on the A24/A283, then head north the usual twisty way B2133/A29. Meeting from 9.45am, leaving for Box' at 10am...

PS. If you can't/don't want to come by bike, then please come along in the car - we'll be at the Smith & Wesson from Midday...
PPS. Please can you let CK know/post in the corrisponding thread in the "What's going on this weekend" section if you're planning on attending, so we have an idea of numbers for lunch - thanks. x
