Hi to all, i have a little query about my swing arm i wonder if any one can help me with, does any one know if i could get a single sider on my 95 plate 600 monster? Ive always loved the single sided swing arms and just wondered if it was possibe or if anyone had done it to a monster like mine? cheers

This has been done to lots of 600/750/900 monsters

Usually with 748 or 916 swingarms or Febur kits, and some mods to frame for suspension mounts

The tube steel S2R swingarm could be used as well

Not so easy on an older monster as they use a hoop to link the swingarm/rocker/shock.
the later ones use a tie-rod rather than hoop, like the single siders, which involves far less engineering, of course all things are possible... how deep are your pockets?

You also need to machine engine crank case to get correct wheel alignment on 916 swingarm

The German made Febur kit has correct offset built in... problem is it costs $2500

hi gents, thanks for the reply. Ive got a mate whos a fabricator and im a panel beater so as far as the any fabrication work/power coating/painting/alloy welding goes, itll all be done for gratis so i suppose thats a plus. It was just whether it could be done or not which was my main query. Thats encouraging tho what you fellas have said, i did wonder whether or not it could be done with a 748/916 swinger. That german one looks the business, shame about the price, it wouldnt be feasible tho as the kits worth more than my bike! Do any of you know anyone thats done it at all?

Stuart42 put a 916 swingarm on his old M600 (and a dry clutch conversion) he may be able to give you some hands on advice when he gets back from IoM
