Went to put clutch and new push rod in to SS. Push rod gets stuck about 7cm out so miles away from slave cylinder. Small tap with rubber mallet did not help (they get stuck on O-rings sometimes). So had to pull it out and that was a bit of fight. When it came out it had a plastic spacer on it about 3.5mm thick. It was stuck on first o-ring from slave side. When it was off the o-ring it slide off easy. It is plastic not rubber, flexible but would not work as seal as to hard.
I removed the slave and red seal was still there.

Spoke to Phil (Ghost) and there is no such part anywhere in the clutch he knows off so it was probably done by previous owner. Any idea what that would be and why?
