Hi does any body have a tank latch catch kicing about I could purchase??

I brought the metal one in picture attached as was listed as M600 one but it does not fit my tank :( mine is the black catch.

I am on my 3rd one they just break without me even touching them!!!

This is on the baby monster which I am just finishing :( I really dont want to damage a tank I have just put on !

Thanks for that ... you only have to look at the dam things and they break.

when you put it on wind it out so when u close the catch it just pulls to rather than strains. broke my one on the ss as it was set up wrong

Smiffyraf has a very good point.
I have the same alloy catch on my 750. Its been absolutely fine, though it is adjusted much looser than the one in your picture....mine has 5 or 6mm of thread showing, where that one has none.
Then again, I think Hector's tank is the earlier, slightly larger type, so the catch details may be different...I don't know.
But if the bolt holes fit the tank, then its definitely worth adjusting it....I'd say adjust it to maximum length, ie just two or three threads engaged, and try that. If its sloppy when the catch is fully done up, keep adjusting it shorter by small amounts until it just stops being loose when its done up, then leave it at that.
Obviously it will still go over a tight spot as you fasten the catch, but in the fully closed position it should have little or no tension in the wire strap etc.

It will fit if you have the old broken one. All you have to do is change the end metal clip that attaches against frame. Take it from original one to the metal one. Then fine tune the length with adjustment screw.
