Tank Catch

Tank catch number 3 !! ...
made of peanut brittle .

Hectors broke and I think I was at Gremlins and they had a spare .
Then today I go out to the baby monster and his had snapped I had not even touched it !

A while ago I saw a metal one and thought right sick of these rubbish plastic ones il get this metal one.

M600 metal tank catch on the bay so brought it and forgot about it.
So when I found this one broken I thought excellent ...

It obviously is not an M600 one :( it doesn't even fit :( bloody breakers!

If the latch part fits to the tank on the same way couldn't you just get a longer link piece bent up for it?

I shall have a look .. The black one suits my bike more :(

Get the alloy one modded to fit and then maybe get it anodised a suitable coour

When Ducati fitted the tank catch to my 1991 750ss they put iot on crooked !!!!!!!!!AAAAARRRRGGHHHH 21 years late its still crooked because the idiots drilled the mounting holes crooked so it can be straightened , at least it aint broken yet

Well I know the right man to anodise it :)
The silver doesn't look right on my bike :(

try removing the wire loop from the end of the catch and replace with your broken catch's loop should fit then but still wont change the colour ! i have just purchased the same metal catch from stein-dinse and it fits no problem but mine has the longer metal loop arrangement to catch the frame tab ! have just removed the loop from mine to see if it is possible, it is ! worth a try anyway !
