The Popham Mega Meet is back on the agenda this year as no clash with DD or trackdays ....yippee!

**** the airfield manager has kindly agreed to FREE exhibitor passes for all Ducatis, all you have to do is send a SAE to him with a note quoting Ducati free passes.....remember no pass and you'll have to pay!!

Details on the attached flyer.....don't park in the carpark ride down to the entrance and find the ducati parking area at the top of the hill :)

I have 20 passes for handing out to those that see me, so save your postage and let me know if you would like one from me. You have to have a Ducati or 30 year old bike to qualify for one.

There is a rock band there this year and it will be right next to our stand! Don't forget your guitar Gordon, or your ear plugs for everyone else! Lol

I haven't answered to those that have posted before, but have taken note and will have passes for those and any others that post up from now on as well. As I said, the first 20 posts get a free pass without having to do the SAE bit!
We can arrange a meeting time at the entrance nearer the time.

Hi Rally - could I have a free pass please.

(I guess Andy will have to buy one on the door if he's turning up on the naughty bike, rather than borrowing the Monster again this year!)

How early I turn up will depend on what state I'm in as it's the day after my sister's hen do ...

Weather looks spot on and if nothing else there's an ice cream van and bouncy castle there

Just so you know...

This event clashes with the Groombridge day in Kent - so a lot of the Kenties will be at that if weather is ok

Still hope to come on Sunday.

However, just taken the Monster for its first MOT and failed (now it's the front wheel bearings which have worn out). Moto Rapido said they could squeeze it in Saturday morning, so all being well the bike will be sorted for Sunday.

However, as it's my sister's hen-do on Saturday evening, will also need to see if I'm in any state to ride on Sunday or still suffering the effects of overpriced cocktails in excessively trendy Soho designer bars!

So meet at Hilltop say 10 ish for 11ish leave for Popham via A30

I think I will have two bikes going there and not 100% sure if there will be two riders to ride them home as yet, so I may have the van which could then also be used for luggage as well.

I have about 40 passes left and will be there for about 9.30am. If you dont see me at the gate area about then, give me a call. I will try to leave them on the gate if allowed. Just mention UKMOC as that is what i will tell them.

Why not have your breakfast in the greasy spoon on site? That will then give us more bikes to display earlier in the day as well. I'll see you all there.

Hi,
I don't know many, if any, despite having been with UKMOC for over a year. A while ago, I met a couple of you at a petrol station near the north entrance to the Blackwall Tunnel in London, but I don't know exactly who.
Don't know where I'll end up today, but tomorrow, I might be coming down to this Popham Airfield, if I can find it.
Is there a pass available still?
And what's the address of this Hilltop you mention?
I'm hoping someone reads this and give me some more info before I leave.
In case I won't get any, I hope I'll find you all by myself.

Though, there's a Ducati Roadshow up in Brackley and in the end I might go to Oxford later today anyway. Decisions...

You mean you actually found something that wasn't rusty or was suffering from some other form of corrosion?

It was good to see everyone today and meet some of you I've not met before. The sun did a good job of baking me and I don't burn that easily... thank god for that helicopter that cooled us down every so often

Did find this which is an original Cagiva part that fits the Road Racing Alloy tank.
Not rusty at all!
