Alternator Cover

groan this is endless :worried:

Any hints for

- removing coolent pump cover, I don't want to prize this off and damage the alternator cover
- how to remove the bearings that are held in place by the circlip that sit below the generator starter

It's probably just held on by the gasket, mine came off fairly easily when I replaced it. Try GENTLY ! tapping around the cover with a hide mallet whilst applying pulling pressure, or you could place a screwdriver with a rag wrapped around so as not to mark the genny cover between said cover and the large hose inlet and again gently applying pressure whilst tapping the cover with a hide mallet.
