M900 Clutch Basket

I'm about to replace the clutch basket on my 1994 M900 and I was just wondering what are the pros and cons of oem parts as opposed to the alloy ones that are available. Also any recommended retailers.

Alloy baskets weigh a lot less and are often quieter

However they can wear more quickly unless you get one with inserts... like the Barnett one

I've fitted a Barnett clutch basket, and so far very pleased with it,

It spins up quicker, and operates very smoothly,

As stated, you need the one with stainless steel inserts, to get good mileage out of it
