Hi all,

After having my off and because of the fantastic R&G people my engine only suffered 5 pillers snapped off the clutch hub.

What are peoples experiances with the billet alluminium hubs and pressure plates as seen on flea bay and the like? They do not seem to have the std cush drive in them. Has anyone fitted them and had problems? snatchy drive, faster wear on the clutch etc.

I need the hub, pressure plate, springs, plates, spring retainers etc so this is most of a clutch exept the bell. Money is tight but need quality clucth gear so will spend it if required.

Thanks
Marcus

this is what happens when you drag your bike down the road on its clutch lol

Or dont seat the pressure plate correctly and then put the vented cover on.
I have never had a billet one but imagine they are light and fine to use.... but I would have thought wear quicker. I guess you have to go with your budget as it is. Look for a secondhand hub.

Billet hubs are fine, they also weigh considerably less than the OEM part.
