Well I have a ruddy great box of bits in the lounge and I'm in the process of trying to work out what is what. Looks like all the usual great bling for your bike is in there for Monsters old and new, there are also parts for the Streetfighter, Hyper, 749/999, 748/916 and the 1198 style bikes as well. So you multiple Ducati owners should be able to "fill yer boots".
All in all I have close to 3 grands worth of black sex to sell to you lot.
So why not invite your Ducati mates along to also have a go at the Moto Gymkhana the escorted rides and get them to spend, spend, spend.
P.S No I don't make anything out of the sales but the club does.

Stafford, If you want to ride your bike up and need it taking for you, let me know as i'm 99% sure I will have to drive there rather than ride. I can take it for you if you like and you can have a van to sell it from?

Thanks for the offer of an early purchase but as the title says "for the weekender" so those attending will get pick of the parts. If anyone would like specific pics of parts let me know, but most are available on the Carbonworld website.
As they say you have to be in it to win it. I will post up a list of parts that are still available after the weekender.

any offers on a black and white rescue cat with one hip and a dodgy tail?

This is a really random question, but does a standard cat have 2 or 4 hips? I actually can't picture whether they've got lips or not either...

On a slightly less off-topic note, if there happens to be one of those fenders left by the time I get there would you have any use for a normal black one? I'm just not too confident of my ability to fit it into a backpack for going home :D

why not ride up without one on, then fit it to ride home?

thats what im doing......

A standard cat has 2 hips but she dislocated one so they cut the ball joint off and she now has a 'floating' hip and a limp (I'm not selling her well am I?!). Now about the lips? Do cats have lips?

And on a less-topic note again, the carbon is lovely..........if there's a hugger left, do what Uksurfer suggests, there should be plenty of folks to help fit it for you or as Stafford says, postage can be arranged.

Better still, leave the cat to draw you a building (it should be able to manage a box with windows at least...) then you can come along too :D

I did wonder about leaving it off for the trip down and bringing an appropriate socket... I'll see what the weather's doing! Only trouble is if I like the look of it without and it ends up getting left that way :chuckle:

So, in true Ducati ownerhship style, you've modified your cat...

Would this be akin to introducing a single sided swing arm? Not quite a performance upgrade in the usual sense, but it has improved performance in the mobility respect... :spin:

With regards to the 'lips' query. Surely all cats would walk around like a grinning Cheshire Cat if they didn't... But I don't think there's a niche market opportunity for any products...

Surely a true Ducati owner wouldn't bother modifying their cat - they'd get rid of it and replace it with a decat instead :chuckle: I've never come across one of these in a pet shop before, but I like to think of it as a sort of small fluffy badger that sounds a bit like a cement mixer.

Having asked around, I've found a willing cat owner. He discovered that it does have lips, they're just very thin and difficult to see. And cats don't appreciate being examined :D

Adam bare me in mind .... I have had exhaust hell :(

Will do, it was going to be a general "sometime this year" thing but I'm wanting to get it done as soon as possible...been painting it to match the bike this week and it looks almost like it belongs now :)
