Hell, I was looking for a mint super light or 851/888 when I got offered the s4r, absolute rocking horse poo to find these days or they are such stupid prices it doesn't make them a viable purchase

I had a 900ss white frame years ago from Baines racing, loved that old thing

Never liked these when I was younger but now they are maturing nicely and I think they look sweet :)

Hi Gary
The FE is a small valve engine
A while ago a guy on the DSC was selling one

Superlight ones are not cheap and apart the mkI (1991) they are the same as a normal SS
Full floating cast iron discs and for the first series Maravich mg wheels

Now I have to find the solo seat
Proble is to get the seat pads (decent ones) if I wanted to use the eBay ones
And then find the right matching paint for a this bike

Any help?

I may be wrong but I believe that dealers can still get the original Superlight seat pads, even the foam type Mk1 ones. May be worth a call to check.

The single seat unit from Ricambi Weiss seems quite popular too. I used their body work on my race bikes and whilst it's not top notch stuff, it is still quite acceptable with a decent paint job on top.

I'm after a Mk1 Superlight again , or a white framed 900, but may well end up repainting a later 900 to suit. I'm still kicking myself for having sold my mint Mk1 to pay for my wedding.

I sent an email to Daytona about the solo seat and a ducati store in Italy and
Computer said NO

I heard the same rumor from a DSC member
But he wasn't happy to share who is the dealer
Btw the price was unbeliveble

I had found before this bike a mkIV
In bad condition
The bike had as well yellow wheels as the fairing
And the asking price was ridiculous
