The belts are easy to change and cost about £45 for your bike. Good luck with it.

Just for info I've just had my 2 year service done, with 2800 miles by WM Snell which cost £274.98 all in (inc belts).

Worth checking the "Ducati tech" videos.
Definitely worth doing yourself, in my opinion.
I fretted for ages about getting the tension right without a special bit of kit, but in fact the allen key method seems to work fine once you get a feel for it, and may even be more reliable as its a simpler process and doesn't rely on putting trust in a gizmo.
And I found it unneccessary to use any special tools to hold the pulleys in place while the belts were removed.
Might be worth making sure your new belts are fresh stock and haven't been hanging around in a parts dept for years.
