I thought it was time to see if we can get a regular Essex meet going!

I'm suggesting we meet at Finchingfield on the 15th of april at 10.30am, by the green opposite the pond. There is a great cafe which serves coffee, tea and bacon butties.:D

Who's up for it.

Had a run over to Finchingfield today as i have the week off, looks like a lovely place, and the twisty roads, Sudbury via Sible Hedingham and onto Finchingfield wow! As I have just returned to bikes after near on 20 years some corners were testing! Then went onto Halstead via Braintree and home!:flag: Going to do that again tomorrow! Great day.

Anyway, i hope to be joining you on the 15th.

I was there today this morning also, started in at 7am Hatfeild, Ware, Bishop Stortford, Much Malden (what ever its called) finchingfeild, back through Ongar, Epping, then took the wrojng turn and ended up in Harlow and back to london, quick 4 hour burst through the country side,:biggrin:

Will try to be there, I am away for 10 days as of Saturday so should be able to score some brownie points from the missus to get away for the day.

The East Anglian Ducati Club is having a meet that day too Grumps. Going to a members pub called the Ginn Trapp in Ringstead for lunch. Ringstead is up by Hunstanton. The DOC will also be there so hopefully lots of Ducatis.

Just a thought! :)

Just got home, got there for 1, spent an hour there having lunch in The Fox, then off we went... Only saw an 1100 evo parked up when we left.

10.30 meets are bit tough on a Sunday!! Sorry.

sorry didnt make it, met a knob in an audi doing 3 point turn 15m beyond a blind corner in a clarway narrow lane next to stanstead airport

just got back from chelmsford a&e by taxi . v lucky to still be here tbh, he was side on across both lanes, no where to go so t boned him twards rear of car and went flying over , broken right hand and dislocated thumb the worst of it apart from lots of strains an bruises. just took jeans off to discover a tasty cut on left shin too. must learn not to be so stoic and whinge more.
. 1000 is v prob a write off :-( front end ****ing smashed
very angry and sore but happy to be largely in 1 piece
going to hit the booze and cocodamol and work out how i can operate my life left handed only

Apart from Ali's pretty good reason for showing up, looks like you should pop into the London or Kent meet in future is you're going to left alone...

I disagree, a little preserverance and a regular meet may be born
