View Full Version : Royal Wootten Bassett 'Ride of Respect' 2012

Rally

This charity ride out is for the Royal British Legions appeal as in previous years and is said to be the last that will ride through what is now the 3rd 'Royal' town in Britain. As last year it is again on Mothers day, that being March 18th which also clashes with the already advertised Wilts / Hampshire Brekkie meeting at Popham Airfield.

This year the bookings have to be made by the 11th of March at the latest. Times available are hourly between 8 - 11am. The minimum donation for charity is £10 per person (Rider and Pillion the same cost each).

What are peoples thoughts on it?

Sounds like fun, why is it the last one?

There is talk this will be the last through Royal Wootten Bassett as the home repatriations now fly into Brize Norton rather than Lyneham.

There are other rides at the same time around the Country this year as well.

I could be very tempted if the seat for my bike is back in time.
