Fuel light

Today I took out the 600 for a blast and had a full tank of fuel.

Last time I rode him it was fine .. then I rode the 400 for a couple of weeks and then the snow fell.

Off I set under 2 miles up road and the fuel light comes on.

Stopped used my IT skills and turned him off and on again , light was off , mile up road lights on again.

Stopped for half an hour jiggled the tank about then went for a bomb... no fuel problems no loss of power , just a mile later light on again!!

I take it because the bikes been standing a sensor either has rubbish in it or something?

Bikes running fine just says you need to refuel !
I always fill my tank every 100 miles anyhow.

Help :) ..... every time I ride the other bike Hector throws a hissy.:banghead:

normal thing with ducati, find the wires from fuel tank clean them, probs gone rusty where stood.

cheers are they under the tank?
If so better ride some more fuel out as my tanks nearly full and I can just manage to pick up a book at moment again. hmm have not syphoned petrol for years now yum yum ..

Did u sort it? Mines the opposite. Doesn't come on when i want it! Meh!

I know where mine is now .... Cause the other one on the other monster snapped ffs!
