Short answer is yes, I have one on my S2R1000. You may have to check that there is clearance for the reservoir, I had to move a coil to fit mine.

its not a straight bolt on, if you look at the s4rs frame its is crimped to allow clearance for the compression reservoir

if staff says it fits just by moving a coil i could believe although i ahve heard people havinf to chop the coil bracket off the frame altogether

if your happy to go this route then the 999 ohlins rear fits too apprently

I did remove the coil bracket and re weld it 90 degrees from original spot.

Ohlins have an after market shock for the S4R, remote reservoir and pre-load adjuster. It is a bolt on affair

Similar to the ST4S shock that also fits.

st4s can be made to fit but it realy needs a longer compression cannister hose and the stock st4s spring rate & valving is not right for the monster

i have just speant loads on getting an old st4s shock sorted for the monster and even though the shock now looks and works like new, for the hassle and cost a brand new Wilburs or Nitron shock would have been a much better option
