Bought a very cheap but very tatty ohlins rear shock off ebay a little while back which looked like it had been ridden through a ocean of battery acid for 10 years
sent it down to Mark at MH racng who stripped it, replated the shock body, did a full servce/overhaul, fitted a longer compression canister hose, revalved to my requirements and supplied and fitted a new heavier spring. its come back looking almost like new
full shock overhaul costs £100 + parts
re-plating £20
