Gas Flow

Anybody had the gas flow engineering done on their monster. Done a search on here but quite limited. Iv heard its something worth doing. Any views ?

It can be done and will make a difference on the 900 / 1000 bikes, the amount of material that can be removed is limited though as an oil way passes close to one of the inlets within the head, this can be modified by taking the oil way external, welding up the internal one, and then grinding it.

Currently doing my M900 heads and previously did my 916 heads.

The 916, with no other mods made around a 15hp increase, I'm hoping for a similar boost on the Monster.
