O yes we would be up for this again had a fantastic day last year.
Do we need to bring fancy dress for a run up the hill ?

Are any of you planning of taking your bike up the Hill?

I may get up there myself and run my '64 Mach 1 if it's still in one piece after Pembrey or I might just whizz the Monster up it.

Any other takers as you don't need a race license for it?

Thanks to those who have got in touch. Will be booking the stand as there's a great take up on the 10 tickets that come with it. Both bedrooms are booked for the Saturday night.....but still got a biggish sofa, air bed or two or could even pitch the 8 man tent on the lawn if anyone else wants supper and a sleepover the night before.
Can't wait to see what Scapps is going to wear to Ride the Hill

PRESCOTT BIKE DAY 22ND APRIL:
THE UKMOC STAND IS BOOKED COMPLETE WITH CAFE serving
breakfast, lunch and teas and coffee throughout the day!!
RE: RUNNING THE HILL on your own bike
I have received an email from the Severn Wheelers... from which this is a quote.....
" there are only 63 places left to RUN THE HILL and these will go very quickly as we’re heavily promoting the shortage via social media. No tickets have been reserved for you or your members as our systems have no way of coping with that – so if any of your members want to purchase Run the Hill tickets can you encourage them to do so sooner rather than later or they are going to be disappointed. Once we have reached our maximum there is no room for manoeuvre, squeezing one in isn’t an option.
A positive problem and one we’re kind of pleased to announce – the Festival is shaping up to be a great day and I look forward to seeing you in April.
Best regards
Gordon"
I BELIEVE SOME MEMBERS HAVE ALREADY BOOKED TO RIDE THE HILL - in theory at least one in fancy dress - got to be worth a tenner of your money to see that !!

Sadly due to ill health on my behalf and me still being unable to ride my bike, I will not be able to attend this event. I have two tickets available if anyone wants them. If you're quick I can get them in the post to you in time. (NB. Jacq will also not be able to make it now for her own personal reasons)

Sorry all and I hope Duncan has a great Birthday and everyone has a fab time.

A great day out :) Thanks everyone

Scrapps did indeed look awesome, I think that's the word I was struggling for, although a yellow bike would have made the ideal zippy mobile. Still it all came out very well, I spect scrapps will be along to explain.

Did anyone get any pictures of the last lot of blood bikes to go out? Well there was apparently one straggler who was a bit behind the rest on a big BMW. Don't suppose anyone got a picture of him?

It's a friend of mine. First ride on that bike :).

I hang my head in shame Duncan because I didn't know it was your birthday when I was talking to you -a very belated Happy Birthday!!

Lovely to see you all again -I'm sorry it was such a brief visit -we spent a lot of time waiting to run the hill -definitely worth the wait though -even in the wet!
