A bit bored post-Xmas, so decided to take a few pics of the RS. My bikes get a general clean after each outing, but they tend to remain coated in ACF-50 so they are always a touch oily and are not concours.

Enjoy!

I do believe I spotted dust and grime on the rear shock as well as a scratch at the RHS fork leg bottom.

Shameless smug photos.... Love it

What sort of scooter is that? Is it one of those bergmann 250 things? Pardon my ignorance..

Thanks all, still getting used to the RS but the detailing on her is ace and I'm still personalising things (she was plain standard when I first picked her up). Rearsets are next I think.

Yamaha TMax 500. My daily commuter which is just a great way of getting around in town rain or shine. The Monster is reserved for high days and sunny days!

Thanks bud, I can't stop taking pics of her. I am starting to get why people are drawn to Ducatis - they are special bikes.

Do it! I wasn't planning the RS - she just came up and said 'me, me, me!'

Rizomas - but I must admit that they are shockingly poor from a visibility standpoint. Am thinking of going back to standard, and have been on the look out for alternatives.

What a lovely bike...

Vince

Cheers Vince

Did you have trouble getting the gear lever on? Looks like a bit of the old screwdriver damage in the slot....:look:

First of all, the QS is for go, not show. I struggle switching between race vs road pattern between the GSX-R which also has a QS and the standard shifter on the RS, so the RS had to have the QS.

It was a tight fitting to get on/off and to adjust to get the right foot position. May get the Dremel polisher out to make the superficial edge perfectly smooth again, although grit from my boot will probably mark it some more with use as it is made from aluminium. Looking at it, it's about 0.1mm marking on the edge. Thanks for pointing it out though

My bikes get ridden and maintained properly more than just polished, so am happy to accept she is not a garage queen. Would rather a fit Angelina Jolie than a Susan Boyle :)
