hope it works !!
Thought it was funny I got 31% i'm too generous apparently!

What's the tighest thing you have ever encountered?
Mine was being asked if I wanted a pint at a bike bash.
I said thanks Guinness please! I then had to look twice as this bloke picked up a dirty glass and proceeded to find left over pints of guinnes and tipped them in this pint glass.. He came back and I said "what the hell"
he said it's called mine sweeping I do it all the time!! Don't have to pay for my drinks (chunder!!!) story of my life about the quality of men I get !

So what's your score? And what's the tightest thing you have ever done ,
and tightest thing you've encoutered?

My tightest thing is only that I had to use a teabag twice!

Yorkie wow you are really good!!
Now before you sit down had you not better remove the condiment sachets from your back pocket?

I can see it now .. Your mrs . " er Mr Yorkie this cranberry sauce tastes funny?"
while he was at the little thief he nabbed condiments and made the cranberry sauce with ketchup sachets and a bit of gravel that was outside with some freebie strawberry jam.. Yum!
Only joking .. Jeez I'm useless then 31%!

52%.....though one or two answers could have gone either way, eg I haven't actually reused milk from breakfast cereal, but I do sometimes swill the bottle out with tea so as to get the last dregs (though thats because I drink gallons of tea and often run out of milk).
The skip question made me chuckle.....most of the bricks for my little bike workshop came from skips...around 2000 of them, in all different shades and styles....as did the floor slabs, door frame, ceiling boards, strip lighting.........
On the other hand, I once sold a Ural sidecar outfit......the guy offered me £320, but I knocked him DOWN to £300.........?????
I also once gave a £15000 interest free loan to a mate who ran a local music venue which would otherwise have had to close. Still haven't got it back.

Oh but nobody is brave enough to mention something tight they have done or the tighest thing they have ever seen .
I have see when a barmaid a group of blokes walk in and suddenly one realised he was going to be first at the bar and actually turned tail quickly then all his mates shouted tight arsed git at him..it was like a form of beer ballet I tell you :)

41% tight.

Not sure that I do anything excessively thrifty, but I do like a good haggle when I buy stuff. I wouldn't be averse to a haggle in a charity shop. I know what I'm prepared to pay for stuff I want and if it's priced above that I'll try to haggle it down. If they won't move on the price I won't buy it.

I do tend to do my supermarket shopping at about 8-9pm which is often the time they have reduced price bread and stuff. Yes I have been known to follow around the person doing the marking down of prices. They get a bit annoyed having people hanging around them waiting for the bargains. Best was when my ex lodger had the job of marking stuff down at the local Tesco. I'd know exactly when she'd be marking stuff down so I could time my shopping trips to maximise the bargains.

It would have been more 'careful' if i'd have drunk milk. I did answer it honestly.

Nothing wrong with being careful!

29% - I'm a little loose with my cash, apparently.

Probably true, although i have two grown up daughters, so i recon they have just trained me over the years to the point that when i hear the word "Daaad"...i instinctively reach for my wallet but it works the other way as well, they have both bought me some excellent pressies over the years, so it's roundabouts and swings in that respect i suppose.

I don't really think i've ever stitched anyone up, it's not in my nature, i consider myself a decent bloke.

I thank you.

I'm the same , never been tight my theory is you come into the world with nothing and you leave with nothing so really enjoy what's inbetween
money has never been my god .. It would be nice to just get by !
I don't want for much nowdays.. Nothing money could buy anyhow.

35% - they reckon I'm not tight enough! I have been known to reuse teabags, especially some of the weird herbal ones I drink at work. Not a very effective haggler though, as many an Indian or Marrakeshi shopkeeper could no doubt testify.

54% I also clip pheasants if they run out in front of me, although I stopped after doing a recycle run to find that the pheasant had a ring on its leg. The only bind was the ring was its guts wrapped around its leg.
Drive eco (I had 73.3mpg on an 80 mile trip), ride Ducati no where near 50mpg.

37% I was quite pleased, not too tight, but not loose with my cash, would not re-use the milk from the cereal but only because it is too sweet for tea. I do know somebody who haggled in a charity shop, not sure I could do that though. I must say that I always get the moneysavingexpert.com e-mail each week, that is not tight it is just being careful.

I have reused a teabag only because I ran out of tea and I can't function without about 10 cups a day ... Got given some Lancashire tea ... Ick it's like dish water!

Lancashire tea .... what the hell do they know about tea?

http://www.lancashiretea.co.uk/about_lancashire_tea.asp

Yorkshire tea is by far the more superior brew!

I love how the website takes time to brew up!
