Anyone done this or heard of it, thinking about giving it a go next year, it looks like a laugh

It looks exciting and fun if you have sea legs (which I don't) about the same price as a foot passenger on the steam racket during tt week too.

A couple I know at the pub last night have a place in the iom and they came back during the week and it was rough..... I mean very rough :mand:

Joey Dunlop used to use a fishing boat to take his bikes over to the TT, in 1985 it sank luckily the works bikes were already on the Island. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p007km34. Three years ago a crowd of guys sailed over from Northern Ireland on jetski's to stay with my mate at Glen Helen one of them got sea sick.:chuckle:

ferry for me. £200ish for the best 5 nights I can imagine! Can't wait :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: I talked to Joey at the '85 TT, and he was really scared when the boat was sinking (as you would). The salt water badly damaged some of the magnesium components on his Yamaha. He was fixing it when I was talking to him. Happy memories!

A couple of writers from PB mag used this a few years ago chucked 125's in and went over for a fw days.
I'll be ferrying next year...like last year. Can't wait.
