Not too sure Chris.
Needs a bashplate or the oil filter will be trashed, plus the front mudguard needs to be higher, if a stone gets trapped under that one, you could end up doing an Irish wheelie !!

Remember this one?, more like it i recon.

I'm assuming that the greenlane is covered in tarmac ;)

Currently rebuilding one of these (the klx), got to stay aircooled:)

The 695's probably as rideable as any big 4T, might even be a bit more tractable than a big single like a 610TE, certainly would have a softer motor.

WOW, lovin the harley clone (and I HATE harleys) with the bevel motor Capo, I bet that would sound gorgeous - a mate of mine had a 900ss bevel back in the day (80's).

Its a long way off yet. This is actually how it will look. I must admit the decals are not my favourite but I do still like them. If I'm going to do it right it has to be right.
I will have my wheels finally rebuilt with new tyres next wed/thurs

I hope you've chosen more knobbly tyres than those in the photo Albie, otherwise you'll be having plenty of hedgehog's eye views of those green/mud lanes ;)

I can say I wanted firstly a good tyre, secondly road legal and thirdly a look as per original .

I will also add another set of wheels asap with some proper off road tyres when finances allow. I may even purchase another bike such as a TT500 I have been offered for modding.

Pirelli MT43

Im now thinking MT21 would be better but tbh these tyres are a lot cheaper than normal tyres.

That's a trial tyre Albie (like on my GasGas Txt280) - you'll need to run Trial tyre pressures or you'll end up sliding all over the place on the muddy stuff ^^

Pirelli MT21 Albie for grip and longevity. They are superb in all conditions except thick clay.

TBH it wouldn't be difficult or expensive to build one yourself

Buy a cheap monster, swap out suspension and wheels, modify exhaust, footrests and and controls plus fit a bash plate... job done ;) It's not like it hasn't been done before, and with with considerable success >>>

I'm surprised that Ducati don't offer a dual purpose model like the monster in the range. They always used to have MX/Scrambler style bikes in the 60's and 70's. I know they have the Multstrada but to be honest it was never really suited to off road use, and the new model is even more road biased IMO.

I'd say this is about as rough as you'd want to go on a Ducati:

But the Terra Mostro is a nice idea!
