I can't believe I'm doing this, but I havent ridden her for nearly two weeks now and as a student I really can't afford to have all that money tied up in something I don't use.

I love her dearly and have spent a lot of money on her, recently had the suspension done too. Anyone thats seen her will know what a lovely bike she is.

Im open to sensible offers.

Bike is currently located in Bath. Mileage is around 6k and she is a Cat C writeoff and has a couple of marks from it, Rosso Corse checked her over and gave her the thumbs up after the accident though.

That's a shame you've got to let her go.

I can't believe it either.
Though I have to say...."two weeks"..???? Seems a bit previous.
You must live a much faster life than I do these days.

Good luck with the sale (ie I hope you change your mind).
She is a very nice monster.

Lima, if you want any info I'm happy to chat, PM me. I don't know it all, but have done some reading up on ACU, DD etc.

As for the bike, someone will be very happy with it I'm sure!!

I'm a bit late to the party, but is the bike still for sale and if so, what sort of money are you looking for?

Thanks

Like all sensible bikers, I'm looking to spend as little as possible. :chuckle:

Realistically I can't afford to have any more than £1500 in a bike. I sadly sold my first bike (M600) on here in pieces after a rather large spill and now the fear has gone, it's time to get back on a monster.

£1500 is probably a bit off the mark for your bike - looks very tidy, but out of interest what ballpark figure have you got in mind? PM me if you don't want to broadcast it.

Cheers and apologies for hi-jacking the thread

I haven't ridden it for a year, as I have an S2R and a 900 sport, so if you care to come and look, and if you want to pay £1500, then I might be open to that offer from a member of UKMOC rather than leave the bike in the garage for another year.
Meanwhile my daughter has her eyes on it and she will be 18 in 2 weeks. No CBT and it is not restricted.

Sorry guys, i've been away.

My bike is still for sale, and 1500 is pretty much the figure I had in my head.

Edit to add: Don't worry guys, the little bump hasnt put me off owning a monster! It's just it's winter at the moment and she's not getting much use, and im due for shoulder surgery in april / may which will keep me off her for 4 - 5 months. I'd rather she went to a loving home and got ridden the way she should be, rather than just sat there looking pretty.

I HAVE to stop reading the for sale section in here! Either that, or I have to find £1500 from somewhere :(
