Wanted good condition monster 695 rear seat cowl in red cash waiting. Will I need a fitting kit??

I have one on my 900 monster that I may be selling soon, you are welcome to try it to see if it fits

yes but you can make it yourself if you have either the dimensions or some brackets to copy

maybe I am just old school and enjoy making bits for bikes

materials to make them cost about £1 and its about half an hours work

I have a seat from a later Monster on my m900 - the original cowl brackets don't fit on the later style seat. Not a massive difference but enough to break the moulded mounts on the cowl if you were to try and force it. (and before anyone chips in - no I didn't...)

so guessing that putting an older fitting on a newer seat would have the opposite effect and be very loose...... (seem to remember that happening when we were trying various seat / cowl combinations on an m800)......
