I'm still pretty devastated as so many of us are about Marco's death at the weekend but following discussions with fellow Ducatista, 'freak', I decided to do something positive and see if we can't raise some charity money in Marco's name.
So, I've produced some "58" stickers to show support for Marco, his friends, family, colleagues and fans, with 100% of the profits going to the Rob Vine Fund and Motorsport Medical Services in the Isle of Man, a charity close to my heart as it's saved many of my friends over the years and does an amazing job funded only by donations. I've got a first run of 25 of these to see what demand is like...
You can buy one of these through ebay but until they register the Rob Vine Fund for me, they will be taking listing and final value fees so if you want to make best use of your money, you can paypal me direct to get one of these stickers using email address simon.tappin@moonpie.co.uk and sending £4.52 minimum donation but if you want to send more, that would be hugely appreciated by Dr David Stevens and all the staff who run the Rob Vine Fund.
It would be great to make a small difference to the wellbeing of another motorcycle racer in Marco's name, thanks for your support, thanks for reading.)
