Does anyone have any opinions?

Are the Bridgestone BT014's any good for a monster?

M&P have an offer for £130 a pair......think the sizes match my M1000

Regards,
Mark

I ran them on my 620 for a couple of years, I found them very good in the wet and comparable to a Diabolo in the dry (although not as sticky as Pilot Power) they're a dual compound, so you get good edge grip combined with reasonable life. Tyres are such a personal preferance, I'd say give 'em a try and see if you like 'em, at that price. Is there any way you can check the age of the stock? They've been superceded for a while now I think.

Hi Guys,
The BT-014 is actually a single compound super sports tyre. It has now been superseded by the BT-016 which is a dual compound super sport tyre.

My 748 was fitted with a BT-014 rear - I found it OK but it wore out quickly; also it wasn't as good as the BT-016 in my view which was fitted to the front.

I have since replaced the rear with a BT-023 which is a dual (& tri on the rear actually) compound sports touring tyre which I have found to be awesome and will be replacing the front with one very soon too - however a pair would cost quite a bit more than the BT-014's!

I don't know about the 14's, but, I have BT016 on my 696 and they are in my opinon far more confidence inspiring than the OEM Angels.

My apologies, I was mis-informed (but still found them okay both on the road and track)

I'm sure the 016 are triple compound.......I use to run them on my Blade and loved them in all conditions. Never used the 014's though.
