ride it or sell it - no point in gathering dust mate

but remember, once its gone, you will struggle to get another one

The bike will give you years, the money it gets will be eaten up in months. Then when you need another one......

How about a short term loan or overdraft?

Once you sell and use the money you are back to square one minus the bike

If all you are going to do is put money into the bank, you will get far more interest from the bike than you will from a bank today!

Yep not worth much in the bank these days, and the banks do not have any products on the market to make it worth while. Unless you need the money for other things??

Wrong time of year now people looking for a bargain.
Look ahead .. Do you want another bike in spring summer next year.

You may end up paying more for a bike of the same ilk next year.

If your looking at a break from bikes fair enough sell

if not best to lay it up .

That or opt for a cheaper bike and pocket some cash.
Swings and roundabouts really..
Look at it longterm rather then next 6 months.
Bike prob better investment then pennys in the bank.

What Gordon says is spot on.

It's quite common for bikes to come back after the six months tax has run out with not that many miles on the clock as the customer wants a new bike for next years riding season.

So Chris try to hang on to the S4R as you'll only take a beating (price wise) at this time of year.
