I'd like to bin the pillion pegs on my Evo. The chances of my lovely wife perching on that seat are slimmer than Ghandi's whippet. She does Yoga but not on the move.

Trouble is, the R/H side one hangs the Termis. Any ideas please? Sensible ones preferably but if not, amusing will do.

My better half just loves the back of the monster. Hmm a black bracket in aluminium would work from one of the mount bolts would work. Always going to see it though

Dave I've taken the rear pegs off my streetfighter and replaced the OEM exhaust hanger with a DP carbon fiber bracket, I know thats not alot of use to you but I bet ducati do a similar bracket for the EVO.

DP don't list anything but the germ of an idea is forming.

Some stainless tubing, 20mm for the lower bit following the line of the trellis and 15mm for the upper bit. Some meaty stainless to fit to the sub-frame and the cans, a bit of very superior welding and powder coat to match.

As I said "I bet ducati will make one" but what you're thinking is exactly spot on, keep on with it and keep us up to speed with the project...

Not sure if you plan to powdercoat it red or black to match frame

I think the red would stand out too much - darker would be cool

Evotech make a nice alloy bracket http://www.evotech-performance.com/ducati-streetfighter-exhaust-hanger-2

Looks good to me, don't suppose you know of anything similar for low-level cans on the old monsters Gary? Planning to lose my back pegs eventually

What type of cans have you got - pictures would help

Sorry, I wasn't thinking! They're just the standard low termis, they attach to the end of the footpeg bracket where the originals did but I was thinking of going for rearsets so would lose the support. In the short-term I might just see about taking the rear pegs off though. Best picture I have at the moment is this

You could make up a dropper (round bar) to support them from the frame rail under seat - or behind pegs

Would need to remove the stock can bracket and revert to a strap though

And it turned up yesterday, so excited about coming to live in Harrogate that it brought it's identical twin in a seperate parcel. So now I have two can-hangers. I can't imagine it was a B.O.G.O.F offer so I'll send one back on Monday.
Fitted in 10 mins, looks great. Thanks again GT.
