Corse, Mach 1 or IOM78 with a red frame in preference to any of the solid colours.

Before you start on me STOP! Mines magenta.

Has no one told Mart they won't fit an R1? I know he felt left out last week but trying to gaffer tape some monster panels on won't fool anyone.

This sounds good.

I tell you what just drop off an 1100 evo and your avatar will be safe.

And yes I am taking it easy, otherwise I'd have asked for a full catalogue of extras.

Cheers
Stuart

I'd love to drop an 1100evo off at your place, it would be a great excuse to come and visit with you again...:booze: just send the money...:mand:

Now getting back to Martins question, the painter guy that was at the MOB day had full sets of panels for sale already beautifully air-bushed for I think 600 euro's which to me is a much better way to go, that way you've got a more unique bike because lets face it there is going to be a lot of the factory accessory paint sets on bikes...

If only I had the cash.

I agree getting a bespoke paint job would be lovely, but as a starting point IoM wins it for me

Where did you get that picture from Char? It is a new shape Monster (1100S by the looks of it) but with a radiatored engine. It's not a Testrasetta though? It looks damned nice though!

It's a new 696 with a 996 motor, 1098 swing arm, and custom exhaust. The frame had to be cut up and welded for the motor and exhaust. A lot of hard work went into it or so they say

I'd prefer either White or Carbon (Need a little paint scheme though on the Carbon 1's) panels.

Obviously you need to start with a gunmetal frame, then either (or all colours) will work.

Just been up to Newcastle on business, called in at the Ducati dealers on Westgate. They had two on display. The IOM78 looked really nice.
Sorry about the crap 'phone photo's.

Good plan then you can start on his bike :)
Bung some glue on, tip the glitter on and as he rides away the excess will blow away..
