Gas flowing

Has anyone had their 900 carb monster gas flowed? - I understand there are various degrees of gas flowing - starting with mild and ending up with wild - where you have the oil gallery in the cylinder head tig welded up (to enable better gas flow) and a seperate oil feed to each head!!! Has anyone done this with standard carbs? - FCRs are the way to go but $1000 FFS!!!!
Whats the best way to keep costs down?
