Looking for someone in the Northwest of England who can remap the original ECU on a 696.

I'm running Leo Vince slip on's and would like to go with open airbox and no baffles, but woried about it being to lean on standard ECU settings.

Any ideas?

BSD Performance are the only company I know of in the UK offering a remap of the Siemens ECU at the moment.

Give Ducati John in Leeds a call he will know or point you in the right direction.

ECU remapping is the new way ahead not Power Commander as the number of tuning points is that much better directly via the ECU. I have a PC on my S4R but will be getting my Multistrada remapped in the future.

BSD in Peterborough come highly recommended, as do CJS Racing in Bristol. Sorry that's all the ones I know.

Thanks guys

I've spoken to Ducati John and now know which way to go...

have an enquiry in with a local exhaust manufacturer to see how much custom headers would be, if the bore can be increased.

speak to nelly at cornerspeed. He's got a 696 himself as his own bike and can do mapping etc.

Out of interest why increase the bore? The 696 is the same size as the 1100 as standard if I remember right.

The bore, stroke and compression ratios are:

696 88 x 57.2 10.7:1
796 88 x 66 11:1
1100 98 x 71.5 10.7:1
1100 Evo 98 x 71.5 11.3:1

Ahh! I thought he meant bore of the exhaust.

He probably did. My mistake. But now I know that the 696 and 796 cylinders have the same bore ;) I'm not sure how useful that info is to me, but I'm sure it'll come in handy sometime.

smudgerii,
What are you planning? Custom headers and an ECU remap? Are you just trying to get the fueling right for the open airbox and no baffles or are you trying to get more power/torque?

Remap is for the open box and baffles out
Headers would have been purely cosmetic.... May get originals ceramic coated
