Still much to do, but to my great relief my first project actually runs for the first time. My FCR Flatsides and light-weight flywheel installations don't seem to have broken anything like timing etc. I am so happy - after a year and a half of slowly building I now really believe this is happening :)

Hear and see it (don't worry about smoke, it's grease on the manifold burning off) here:

Looks and sounds great,
I'm going to buy myself an old farm too in the coming year, probably in Southern Sweden near the beach - my Swedish girlfriend is talking me into it.
I want to set myself up with a great shed and plenty of space as well, had most of that here in Chamonix too until I decided to get some better sex and screwed around a bit- resulting in a long drawn out divorce battle.
But I also want what you got (may be without chickens) and want to mess about with mechanics.
Good luck with your project, love your site and keep going , I am looking forward to see that Monster go
Also thanks for your advice with my bend footpeg
Cheers
Markus

Cheers guys!
Yopcha - farm? You're kidding - I live in London and the chickens and the shed are in my back garden. If you check the start of the blog it explains how bikes, shed, and concrete for base had to go through the house as no access.
Saint - if your talking about parts as in carbs then probably - everyone goes to CC don't they? No wasn't planning everyday bike - have old Firestorm for that.. Still you never know...
Ped - yeah have to thank trade with sburrows42 for the Mivvs - I love em. Now I need to get seat, rear number plate, indies, and suspension set up sorted.....

Yopcha forgot to say - thanks for kind comments and good luck getting the stuff you need. Can't claim credit for helping you with your pegs - it wasn't me! Still hope they are sorted now...

Once set-up my FCRs have beeb faultless, though I do switch the fuel off if I'm leaving it for a while.

Looking good, loving the pipes and the colour scheme, so nice to see projects coming together, loads of effort, loads of headaches, lots of time but got to be worth it, hope to see it on a ride out some time.
