Looks like the normal last minute dash for me as nothing sorted yet for Belgium other than the ferry crossing and breakdown cover for bike.:eyepopping:
Got loads of stuff to sort today and tonight so its Friday night or Saturday morning for packing the bike stuff :(

Bled the clutch and rear brakes out. Discovered my mystery clutch fluid loss was due to a perished pipe on reservoir. Refitted the rack and a new tax disc. Just need to do a quick oil change before Saturday. Oh.. and had to request a replacement insurance certificate after several wasted days looking for it indoors :grump:

I still wish I had a metal tank so that a small tankbag could be attached without having to strap it down because my tank's plastick, despite carrying a 50 ltre Ventura pack it's always handy to have a small handbag to carry around. :)

I've had work get in the way of my departure plans... although I now have a cunning plan where I intend to quickly call in to the IBM Warwick office to take an urgent call before continuing on.... otherwise I'd be riding in the dark and rain, instead of just riding in the rain... happy days....

I got the Kriega tank bag kit + US10 bag for the Buell, which has the same plastic tank issues.

The Kriega is expensive but well made, easy to use and waterproof
