GREAT WESTERN ITALIAN DAY

Sunday September 11th 2011

From the great team that brings you the Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival (BIAMF), We are pleased to announce the dates for the Great Western Italian Day (GWID).

Originally started back in 2007 as the Great Western Alfa Day, this has now progressed into an open (Cars, Motorcycles, Scooters, even bicycles if you want - would love to see a Ducati Bianchi) Italian Day.
The 2011 GWID returns to a location which we last used in 2007 for a Great Western Alfa Day, the historic Gloucester Docks.

We will again have the opportunity to display a good number of vehicles on the quayside at the dockhead, with later arrivals parking just on the other side of the building behind the display. And with the expansion to an Italian Day brings with it all the delights of the motoring world with Motorcycles as well as Cars, everything from Classic Ferraris to brand new Ducati Desmosedicis - so if you have some Italian Exotica please feel free to bring it along!

While the Italian delights on display will be a the main attraction for many, this area has undergone much improvement since we were last there and so has much more to offer.

As well as the pleasant location itself there is an adjacent pub which also serves food along with various other eating places, the Gloucester Quays designer outlet, the Antiques Centre, the Mariners Chapel, the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum and the Gloucester Waterways Museum. For details of these and more attractions, please click here. The town centre is also within walking distance, including the spectacular cathedral.

Head for the North Warehouse, Commercial Road, Gloucester (Post Code GL1 2EP), which is opposite Barbican Road.
