Delivery in person at some point also fine.

Postman left mine outside my front door, which was a nice surprise when I popped home for lunch. Despite my initial trepidation, considering what happened last time, I made a cup of coffee in it without breaking it. I even washed it afterwards without breaking it. Obviously such good luck can't last long. It'll be smashed within a week I'm sure.

I actually think that a handle is rather superfluous and not in keeping with the true Ducati spirit. Take note of an official Ducati mug.

Not a handle in sight, trust me it's not hiding around the far side, honest. OK there are some slight drawbacks like the fact that you need asbestos hands to have a hot drink, but think of the weight saving and elegance of the design that just couldn't have been achieved with a handle on the side. And from Ducati's point of view they get to charge you more (yes it costs £9.50) for less. Genius ;)

Italians serve their coffee's at sipping temperature straight from their fancy machine's, so no time wasting drinking it either.

The French drink theirs in large bowls (only at breakfast) and dunk their croissants in them, even croissants with jam on (frankly I just think that's wrong - dunking bread/pastry stuff is just wrong).

The kitchenware advantage is that the same coffee bowl can be used for soup at other meals and also breakfast cereal (although the French don't eat much of that - except as a nightime snack (if you're a girlie)). It's also a suitable sized bowl for whisking eggs in and even drinking the occaisional pint of tea out of (Guy Martin would be happy - as long as you made the tea correctly). All with no handle. Which isn't a problem for my other half, whose hands are so cold she can take things straight out of a 200 degree oven without oven gloves.

In my experience in France, one bowl, one plate, one glass. That's all you need to eat and drink from even if it's a five course meal. They obviously aren't keen on washing up ;)

Amazingly I'm down to the last box of 36 mugs, that means you lovely members have bought 108 so far, so well done to you.

We've only had a handful of breakages (user error and aggressive delivery) so we're not doing too bad on that front. :)
