August 21st 2011 - Popham Mega Bike Meet near Basingstoke

The Popham Mega Bike meeting is on Popham airfield just off the A303 to the West of Basingstoke. We went last year and it was an enjoyable day. We get free passes in because the owner is a bike fan, especially for Italian metal. I have numerous passes that I can meet people with on the day or beforehand. It starts at 10am.

I would just like to say how nice a weekend we had down in Wiltshire. We thats me and caroline set off from Kent after dinner in gorgeous sunshine but by M25 at Leatherhead it started to pour down.
Got absolutely soaked but got to Rallys safely. Had a great chinese with him and Jacq and a spirited spin in the TT Quattro Sport.:thumbsup:
Had a great day with all that came to Popham and aquired some bargain new Cables for the ped saving myself probs £20 +. All the cables fitted thank god. No markings on them but I knew the look as spent an age on it.
Great turnout and a nice ride around the roads. Better roads than in Kent for sure. I will take you up on hospitality again Rally.:thumbsup:
Whilst at Popham we had a shower again but luckily it went away and there was a good turn out from other bikes. Got totally attracted to the RD's.

Looking forward to Castle Coombe now in a fortnight.
