Nah, they're becoming classics, and so they should.
Best road bikes ever designed, in my opinion.
Still a bargain at £1500, and won't really ever depreciate any further.
You might get lucky if you're patient though.
Buy one and keep it, is my advice.

They are going up in price .
All seem to be going for over a grand now .
Better to spend a bit more on a decent one that's been serviced.
Otherwise you clock up more money sorting it !

You may get a decent 600 or even 750 for that money - A clean and original 900 will fetch more

£1000 or less usually gets..

a/ pile of crap

b/ money pit

c/ pain in the arse non runner

I would be surprised if you could fine an early (yellow hoop) 900 for 1500 TBH

SS can be picked up for 1200 1500 now .
But a monster under a grand now hmm.
3years ago yes you could .. But in the last year prices have been climbing.

I would pay a few hundred more on a well serviced machine.
Also some peoples idea of looked after leads alot to be desired!!!!
Check paperwork !!
See when belts got done and valve clearences all things like that add up !!
I brought my dark for £1200 ..
Tyres where crappy .. Belts hmm ..
Electrical problem suddenly appeared.

As for 400 jeez ... A much loved machine , had everything it needs lavished on it..
Have to say 4 years ago belt change .. Buggered reg rec .. Chain shot to bits .. Wiring bad..

Check out paperwork alwAys if you can.

My ok priced £600 seemed ok. Rode ok.. 200 miles later it landed me near £400 bill.

Don't buy a cheap bike unless you can fix it yourself trust me!! It's a money pit!

Technically my bike has now cost me 300 quid after my insurance pay out.
