View Full Version : Avia Compositi Dash

Hi All, I am a Newbie-just joined up.
I am thinking about buying an Avia digital dash for my 2006 Monster S2R 800 based Radical Ducati project.
Do you guys have any photo`s and I am interested to find out how difficult they are to connect up.
I am no electrician, but fairly competent with the oily bits.
Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

I thought the imobliser was imbeded in the clocks on the sr2 so you would need to re-programme the ecu before you changed over the clocks

Or hide the circuit board from the stock clocks in the airbox?
Unless you're going the full Rad route and dumping the EFI in favour of FCR41s

Hi, from what I understand from the Avia Compositi website, the immobiliser has to be disconnected.
I have junked the airbox, in favour of cone filters, but i`m not going to fit carbs. I will probably end up fitting a PC3 to sort the fuelling.
I have attached (or tried to) a photo of how far i`ve got.
Next up is to cut off the standard subframe and make a new one for the Radical seat unit.

The immobiliser circuit consists of the ECU, dash and transponder in the key (plus the ariel around the lock) All three are coded together. If you are using the stock ECU, you either need to keep the original dash circuitry or find someone who can remove the immobiliser function from your ECU, if that's possible.
