MrsC_772's barbecue Farnborough - 14 August

Hampsters, Wilties, Kenties and anyone else who fancies it ..

After the success of last year's Monsteristi barbecue (when the weather gods smiled on us just as they did at the Mallory Park trackday, the European sausage mountain was consumed and then there was white chocolate ice cream) we've decided to host another one.

Sunday 14 August, eat around 1pm, my place in Farnborough. (PM me for address details if you don't have it).

Please let me know if you plan to attend so we know how much food and drink will be needed.

We plan to go ahead barring hurricanes and lightning - we can rig a tarpaulin over the patio to provide some shelter if it rains.

Bring swimsuit and towel if you want to wallow in the hot tub.

If anyone coming from further afield wants to crash out overnight Sunday night , we have floorspace, spare bed, airbed (but bear in mind we'll both be working on the Monday so we'll have to throw you out about 8.30 am!)

And yes, there will be more white chocolate icecream!

Me and Caroline will be driving down again. Unfortunately but to my benefit I had to switch working weekend but I get the Bank Holiday now. Dont have to pixalate me but will be around 3 ish if thats ok.

I have unplanned NZ guests staying for the weekend, so am very sorry to have to miss this key event of the year. Will be thinking of you all and hope the sunny intervals and longer than just intervals. Happy braaing (bbq ing!)

Various people have asked if they need to bring anything.

What I forgot to tell anyone is that if you've got a sidestand puck, please bring it, as if it's a warm day like last year, your sidestand might sink into the soft tarmac on our drive. Don't want a row of Monsters falling over like dominos!
