900ss exhaust fit M750?

Hi,
Does anyone know if 1991 duc 900ss exhausts fit a 2001 m750?
Had a quick search and it seems they would fit the headers, wondering if I would have to fabricate a new hanger?

99% sure they won't fit straight on. I think the front cylinder pipe is longer and the upswept angle where the cans slide on is different between the SS and the monster.

Yes it's quite a bit different won't fit on angled differently have a set here

I tried a set of 750ss cans on my m900 - hangers don't line up.........

But you can use standard 900 monster pipes which are the same, says so stamped on mine

The pipes are the same but the headers are different - 900 has longer stroke hence longer headers.

If it helps I have some monster cans here and ss cans I could pop them side by side so you can see :) they are close at hand so easy for me to do!

Don't know if this will help as the SS cans are not standard.
the bit where they slip on is the same diameter but the pipe angles are very different.

Probably of no help at all but thought while I have them sitting here Id take a shot for you .

Thanks everyone and thanks for the photos he11cat (nice cans btw), keep seeing ss cans on ebay, was playing with the idea of drawing up some brackets on cad and getting them laser cut, as its not very expensive but not so sure now if the pipe angles are too far off.

I have a set of hi-level oval Termis (Aluminium), link pipes and mounting brackets which should fit your 01 750. They fitted my 01 S4 no problems so should line up ok. If you're interested (or anybody else for that matter), let me know (yes, I know it's a shameless hijack of a thread!)
