Brilliant day (even as a spectator) and thanks to all for arranging -

I took a load of shots throughout the day and I'll upload on to one of the photo sharing sites - I'll post up the links when I've gone through them.......

Meanwhile I've posted a handful of shots from the afternoon session......

Hope you don't mind.
I'll add the links to Motorsport in Focus and Peter Wileman once they've put them online.

Hey Antoine, didn't know you were there. If I'd have known, I'd have said hello. Mind you, it's so long ago since I've done anything connected with the club, I would probably not have recognised you anyway. Old age and memory loss - go hand in hand.

Next time aye?

Hi Simon. I did recognise you (nice leathers!) but I don't think you recognised me. And I was probably too shy to introduce myself... Sounds like I should have.

We met just once I think, on that trip to the factory.

Thanks again for that lovely frog NCR style in my avatar :)

Yes. Do say hello next time. Honestly, I'm really, really crap when it comes to names and faces but I'm very friendly really. I remember having a chat at the factory - must be 4/5 years ago now?

And ah yes, my leathers. They are a source of amusement or used as a fluorescent marker for some of the inters to know whether they are gaining or losing pace. They can be seen as far as Newcastle apparently. Shame I can't do them justice in my lap times though.

Was yours the silver bike with the old Paul Smart style nose cone? Very nice.

Thanks to all the JP and Slob at UKMOC for a fantastic day. By some complete fluke I ended up in the middle of the 'Staffie' - 'Rollo' camp and was looked after all day.

A couple of pics attached.

I am really glad the cash was almost sorted out.

Look forward to one next year!!

That pics nuts! What happened - did he fall off, spin and then pick the bike up whilst it was facing the wrong way. He must have been sh*tting himself seeing all those bikes flying toward him!

Love pics 4 and 5 on that little strip... that's a complete WTF moment!? Hope whoever it was was ok...

Saw something similar in the novices... approached the hairpin to some furious waving of yellow flags. As I went round, there was someone on a new shaped red monster stopped in the middle of the track. Not sure what happened, but at least we were all facing the same way, unlike the above  :mand:

And Martin... I cut the corner on the bustop a few times as well! What a silly place to have a chicane... much better to take the straight line approach :)

Scuffed pipes/crashbungs and bent pegs, no injuries.

Not sure. I hope it was just a stall/loss of power or something rather than a low side. The bike was upright when I saw it but not sure what happened. Hope bike and rider are ok.

Steve I wondered where the hell you was going. That was twice you did that.:eek:

I got a little excited a couple of times. Usually when someone braked in front of me and put me off my line:on:. The mushroom shaped rumble strips looked pretty uncomfortable so I took the grassy line.

Really must buy an enduro bike to get this off roading out of my system...

Glad you like it Nat, can you check something out for me. You should be able to download the pic straight from the site: click on the image you want so you get a single pic on screen. Then right click and on the right of the text box that pops up you should see "original". Clicking that should download the full size pic.

Actually pm me an email address anyway, I have another image that I rejected as it was a little soft focus but your knee is down! You can sharpen it up a bit in photoshop.

It's not about tucking your feet in Albie, it's because you're not riding on the balls of your feet. You have your instep on the pegs when it should be the balls of your feet. You get much better feel of the bike that way (it'll also alter your stance slightly forward too, killing two of the above problems in one go)! :D
