I could do with some new tank badges and also arai graphics for my freshly painted matt black RX7. I'll have a look for that ebay seller.

Could always try carbon trader. I've had stuff from them in the past and found the stuff pretty good. See you at the next meet.

Hi JMo - I noticed the covers on the reservoirs for your brake and clutch and wondered where you got them, they aren't standard are they ? If you got them as accessories could you pm me with the supplier, they look really good on your bike which is stunning.

Hi Tom - I've PM'd you the details, but for anyone else interested - they are billet aluminium ones by Rizoma, and I got them from Spareshack, but that was quite a few years ago now...

Another question relating to decals, would the white Ducati decal on my S2r have a lear coat of lacquer over it? I'd love to put on some old style white double line log on instead.

I'll check tonight but I think the edges of the decal feel smooth:scratch:

Yes, the factory decals are laquered over on the tank... as I recall the side panel ones (on black or carbon side panels) you can usually remove...

Another option is to go for the raised chrome metal (actually chromed plastic) badges that came on the 'Monster Metallics' around 2001-2003... they came in chrome, satin and a sort of gunmetal too as I recall...

They are the same font as the sticker letters on the tank, but typically the size and spacing is slightly different so you can't just stick them over the original tank stickers...

Perfect opportunity for a re-spray I say!
