No, is not the title of the next XXX movie;), although some bike porn will be involved. The event will be held from the 8th Nov to the 13th. I know is a long way away but I'm just gauging what the interest would be in terms of numbers as different numbers will mean different ideas in terms of accommodation and transport.
Roughly the schedule will be as follows:
EICMA on press day, bikes factories (with a special eye to small independent builders) , museums, food and drink.
I know Andrea already spoke to a number of people and few things are already lined up. Last year was a hoot, as I'm sure all those who attended would agree.
In terms of budget it depends how much you spend on those shiny parts (albeit no sales are made at EICMA) but rooms last year were 50€ per night (but again a cheaper place has been found for this year) and food I think it averaged around 20€ per meal (and we've had some serious food&drinks).
Last year threads with pics as follows:
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=38158&highlight=eicma
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=39332&highlight=eicma

Oh ok, if you insist........ you can put me on the "interested" list.......

Calum was only talking about this yesterday........ so I guess you can count him in too.

You forgot to mention the Wednesday night at 100HP club..........

OK, for those that have expressed interest the week we're looking at is the 7-13 Nov.If you need to get back earlier/later is fine. Malpensa (MPX) is the ideal airport as is only down the road, but if you need to fly Linate or Bergamo they're not too far,is just that MPX makes for an easier drop off and pick up point.
I suggest we arrive on the Monday 7th (shows open tuesday) and we get a minivan or something (not a van, that would bring back scary memories for some of you ;))so it would be easier to move around.
Things that are lined up for this year are(but not limited to):
Museum Guzzi Mandello del Lario (LC) Museum open weekdays 3-4 pm http://www.motoguzzi.it/#/motoguzzi/IT/it/passion/museo/Museo
Ghezzi-Brian Missaglia (LC) not far from the Guzzi place http://www.ghezzi-brian.com/index.html
Paton Settimo Milanese (MI) http://www.paton.it/index.htm
Bimota Rimini (RM) their site is down at the moment
I know Andrea has been talking to a private collector and he's got a surprise lined up
Also I'll have to pop into Magni but that should be a brief visit.
A night with Alex and 100HP is a given as they 'll be pleased to have us back. As said we can move to 4 wheels also with Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati all within reach.
I've been speaking to some of you and you know well the tour is open, nothing is set in stone yet as depends on numbers/level of alcohol from the night before and so on.
I know some of you have shopping lists so that is in the plan, I just don't want to give anything away, hence not in the list (wink wink nudge nudge)
Everyone is welcome and those who attended last year know well that is matter to just get there and go with the flow..

Hi all

Just heard from Max that this is still on and dates are 7th - 11th Nov.

Had a look on squeezeyjet and these flights look the best I think?

LGW to MXP 0710hrs 7th £28

MXP to LGW 1630hrs 11th £25

If want me to book these then let me know by mailing a scanned copy of your passport(pages with photo and details on) to stuart at blackdub.co.uk by evening of Monday 29th and I'll get them booked.

For those that I booked for last year just send me a mail to let me know as I still have your passports from last year.

Hi Rally

Last year Stafford kipped over and we headed to Gordon, who has very kindly offered to drive again.

If you want you can kip over the night before or come and meet me at mine.

I think Grumpy is interested in coming so he may also want a lift/bed for the night?

At least you won't be subjected to my abysmal attempts at parking this time round! Suspect I provided some amusement for the other customers in the cafe opposite the MV Agusta museum last year.
