Hi all

Before I do some damage.. - any ideas how the four screws holding the clear screen to body coloured dash cowl are removed?

The screw holes don't seem to fit any of the allen keys I have?

Thanks!
Ade

You will find they are not allen keys but like splines. I undid mine by taking the whole fairing off and turning the rubber captive bolt. I would recommend either buying a small spline set of keys like socket drives or getting replacent ones from ebay that use allen bolts.

I managed to undo mine with an imperial 1/6" allen key. Not ideal though - I shall be replacing them with 'proper' allen screws next time they're off as Albie suggests...

I did see something on ebay today. A double bubble tall screen for our bikes. Made by Puig but it looks too tall and out out place IMHO. Price is £66 I think. I dont actually see he point of having it clear as too small to get your head in. Thats why mines carbon vinyl covered, Been thinking of getting it painted pearl white as a number board look.

Probably very practical but it hurts my eyes a bit to be honest, i'm looking to black mine out too, if only to save cleaning behind it! I was going to spray it from the back but intrigued about your carbon wrap...? Number board sounds good too.

Hi All

What you need is a T5 Torx drive

Turns out I had one in my electrical kit after all as its the same as many mobile phones needed

But only 99P delivered off eBay for a new Torx driver
